Hiện tại, Việt Nam vẫn đang nằm trong nhóm 4 thị trường xe máy lớn nhất thế giới, bên cạnh Trung Quốc, Ấn Độ và Indonesia. Ước tính cả năm 2018, tổng dung lượng thị trường xe máy Việt Nam sẽ đạt khoảng 3,3 triệu chiếc, tăng nhẹ so với năm 2017.
