Theo Trung tâm Dự báo khí tượng thủy văn quốc gia, ngày 13/12 miền Bắc ấm dần hơn vào ban ngày khi nhiệt độ tăng lên mức cao nhất 22 độ C, nhưng giảm nhanh xuống mức 12 độ C về đêm. Trạng thái này duy trì ở miền Bắc đến hết ngày 16/12, sau đó khu vực đón thêm đợt không khí lạnh cường độ mạnh.
