Theo cảnh báo của Tổ chức Khí tượng Thế giới (WMO), nhiệt độ toàn cầu có thể tăng lên mức kỷ lục trong giai đoạn từ năm 2023 đến năm 2027 do khí nhà kính giữ nhiệt và hiện tượng tự nhiên El Nino xảy ra.
